Cocoa Residents Can Experience Brevard Symphony Orchestra’s Tribute to Beethoven
Are you a classical music lover in Cocoa? If so, you are in luck. During its 67th season opener, the Brevard Symphony Orchestra is continuing its celebration of Beethoven’s 250th birthday. The event features three remarkable classical music pieces, including:
- Beethoven’s Egmont Overture, which was written for Goethe’s “Egmont” play
- Haydn’s 1st Cello Concerto, a joyous piece performed by cellist Francisco Villa
- Beethoven’s 7th Symphony, which is thought to have been the composer’s favorite symphony
The celebration begins at 7:30 PM on Saturday, January 23rd, at the King Center for the Performing Arts in Melbourne. Tickets for this enthralling night of culture can be purchased online and start at $34.
