Hurricane Flood Damage in West Melbourne

When storm-induced rainwater flooded the first floor of this West Melbourne home, the damage was extensive. Several inches of standing water seeped into and ruined the laminate flooring in the kitchen and living room area. Our SERVPRO  technicians pumped out the pooling water in a matter of hours. The removal of the flooring exposed the soaked concrete pad for drying. The LGR low grain refrigerated dehumidifier and smaller air movers increased the rate of evaporation and the capturing of airborne water molecules. The attention to moisture removal prevented secondary water damage to the cabinets and appliances.
