Fire in a car from Merritt Island

Here we have a car brought to us at SERVPRO of Central Brevard that had a  lit cigarette left and started a fire inside the car.  The first pics show the soot damage as well as other debris on the floor-  We used the same advanced carpet cleaning technology and an IICRC certified carpet cleaner that we use in our normal carpet cleanings, to remove all of the soot and discoloration from the inside of the automobile as well as any debris.  The second pic shows the finished work and the true grey color of the car interior. We also used a fogger and ozone to remove the smoke smell.  The customer was very pleased with the job we did.  Even said the car smelled better than it had when he had first purchased the vehicle.
